I wear my own sacred pair of those exact black Tevas like houseshoes around my house. I used to pride myself on defying the dress code rules and wearing flops to work.
Have you seen the film version of the play “Noises Off”? Carol Burnett is so good in that. I highly recommend it. It also has John Ritter, Nicolette Sheridan, Christopher Reeve, & Michael Caine in it. Oh, and Balky’s brother. You know who I’m talking about? She’s definitely one of my favorite childhood memories. I would laugh at all the grown up jokes that I didn’t actually get on her show with my parents.
I wish I had some SweetFarts…

Becky, Carol did a great job. She really plays drunks well. But she was…creepy! The whole plot with Shaggy creeped me out. (And flip-flop freedom is right!)

Shauna, I have GOT to see Firefly. I just never got around to it. I’m not into Sci-Fi, but I can tell from all the raves it gets, that that’s not really necessary. I’m surprised you didn’t like Castle! I hope this doesn’t mean you saw crappines in it I didn’t, but it will reveal itself to the rest of us later. If the show crumbles, it’s totally your fault.

I totally watched that episode of SVU with Carol Burnett on Tuesday, and I don’t normally stay up that late (I know… I’m lame!). It was an amazing performance.

And I broke out my flip-flops a couple of weekends ago… oh the freedom!!

Okay, Jen, are you wearing the right kind of flops? I can’t wear most of them. They kill my feet. like the kind at Wal-Mart or Payless or the cute plastic-type ones at Old Navy. Could not last 5 minutes in them. But those two I mentioned are AWESOME.

Timothy, you should write letters of protest to companies until they comply and come through for you. Unacceptable!

Girls, I’ve only seen the premiere, so I’m gonna watch show no. 2 this weekend. I hope it continues to be so solid. And sizzley!

Flip flops – Not so awesome. I can’t wear them long enough to get used to them. But I have a pair that I wear the one or two times I get to a pool. I just suffer through until I hit the water.

I love “Castle”! Watched it for the first time this Monday and fell in love with the author/policewoman duo. The screenwriters for that show totally deserve kudos for their crafting of the characters — their chemistry is perfect!

I looooove flip-flops, but sadly I have none. Instead, I have a closet full of strappy, Sunday-style shoes that I hate. Right now it’s too cold here for me to wear sandals instead of sneakers, but as soon as it’s warm enough…

How the heck did Japan invent a robot-model? And how can something made entirely of metal weigh ninety-five pounds? And why would someone want one?

I, too, am really enjoying Castle–you have to admit that no one can deliver a line like Mal…er, Nathan Fillion.

And yay for flip-flops! It’s finally warm enough to wear them here as well. Now I just need to find them undernearth all the snow gear that’s taken over the front closet…

And robots? I mean let’s think about this: what would become of Tyra and America’s Next Top Model?! There would be no drama, no tears, no cat fights, no…entertainment.

ah I love flipflops! They drive my family crazy because they get between their toes and have no arch support, but they’re definitely my favourite shoes. The weather went above 0 degress Celsius here in Canada this weekend, so I wore some to church. Unsurprisingly, I was called crazy. You’d think they’d learn, considering that for a couple years I never wore anything but sandals, even when there was snow outside. Lucky you, living somewhere warm. You always talk about wanting snow…you can have ours.
