I’ve Known Better Blogs
I know I said I’d have a fabulous blog today…but I also said I’d lay off the candy bars. Neither one is gonna happen. Between writing and end-of-the-year things at school (those kids expect me to GRADE their papers. What is up?), I am barely having time to brush my teeth. (In fact, I forgot deodorant today. Luckily I did not go to school and no one had to smell this. No so luckily, I remembered my lack of powder scent Secret at 4:30. When I was running. In the 85 degree heat.)
Quickly, I wanted to remind you that Glee has their preview premiere this Tuesday night on Fox. (I originally thought it was an ABC Family series, and words cannot describe how pumped I am that it’s airing on Fox–a station I get. If this show sucks rotten eggs, I will not be responsible for my actions. I haven’t had a show I truly cared about since Ross finally made an honest woman out of Rachael. Don’t let me down, Glee. Do not let me down.
I’m also really excited about this Disney movie coming out later in the year. It’s about time Mickey invited an African American into the princess club.

I also caught the new Taylor Swift video the other day. It’s kinda cute.
I totally had those dork glasses in the eighth grade. Do not doubt it, they were hot. And large enough to magnify my whole face. Is that the guy from the Hannah Montana movie? I think so. He’s a cutie. Was his southern accent real in the movie? Anyway, I like the whole sign thing. Clever. But Taylor Swift in that brunette wig? Not clever. It’s like the budget ran out and the wig had to suffer the consequences. Taylor, Oriental Trading Company is NOT the place for hair pieces. Japanese lanterns and key chains, yes. But wigs. Nuh-uh.
There really will be a better blog Monday. I resolve to come back from this weekend new, improved, and full of blog bounty.
And a big thanks to all of you for the kind comments on Facebook and email over So Not Happening. It makes my day.

yes, that was hannah montana boy…i watched a bio on the making of her video yesterday! and you should have been doing zumba not running yesterday! we learned Thriller.
awww I love that video! it’s so cute, and i like the glasses. you’re lucky getting out of school soon…we don’t get out till late june.
I’m not a big Taylor Swift fan, but my teens at work are. I do think that video is super cute though-although she should love her with the dork glasses too-she totally could have worn them to prom!
I’m excited about the new Disney movie too and Glee-this show better rock because I’m going to cry if it doesn’t.

Hey that movie looks cute! I saw it last night. I hope that you can get some pics up;I would like to see them. I don’t see you in those dorky glasses thats for sure! Well if they magnified your face that is a good thing because you are beautiful!!!!!!! By the way I don’t care how long it takes you to grade my final speech. as long as you can still brush your teeth. Haha!
