Thanks, everyone, for the suggestions! I wrote a ton of them down.
And Melissa, "At Last" has to be one of my all time favorite songs. Love it.

My favorite CD is a mix that I made for the car.

It has a ton of old stuff by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong....I love that genre of music!

The one song I turn up LOUD? "At Last"...my girl Ella still has it! :)

Right now, my hips are always swaying to Dave Barnes' CD "You Me and the World". I've had the album for awhile, but I misplaced it for a few solid months and now that I've found it (the CD was in my Radiohead case!), I am loving him all over again! I actually bought it first because he is quite a stud on the cover, but I LOVE his sweet, deep voice. Especially the southern-gospel inspired "Carry Me Through", which I always listen to in my car, on the interstate, music blaring. :)

My Favorite CD would have to be Group 1 Crew's "Ordinary Dreamers." I bought it when I went to the Revolve Tour last year. (I went this year and bought So Not Happening which was soooo good, by the way. I want to be a writer, like you, incorperating teen fiction with godly messages and stuff.) Anyways, I have listened to this CD 100 times over and know every word to every song. When I want something uplifting to tell me how God is in everything I do, I listen to "I See You". If I just want an upbeat song to shake my hips to, I go for "Gimme That Funk." I put it on my iPod and have the whole CD on repeat. It's the first CD that I have bought where I just didn't pick a couple songs that I liked, but I listen to the whole album.

My favorite CDs shuffle faster than an iPod playlist, but right now my definite favorite is Jars of Clay "Good Monsters." I unearthed it in one of my CD stacks, and have been listening to it almost everyday since. I love all their songs: the words are so poetic and make you think, and the music is beautiful.

I just watched "Holiday Inn" for the first time a few days ago. =) I had never seen it before, but it was a special 2 disc edition with the movie soundtrack included, and I'm such a sucker for such things, so I bought it. It is an awesome movie, though, and I'm glad I did. I feel like I'm having deja vu (sp?), because I just blogged about this last night..."Holiday Inn," Gene Kelly, and how Fred Astaire always looked like an old man, LOL. Anyway, did you like the movie?

My 33 miles CD would probably be one of my favorites. They have such good lyrics. I find that I like 1 or 2 songs from a CD and listen to them so many times that I wear it out and it starts skipping. That's when I find another CD and repeat the process.

I have got to say my favorite CD is either Family Force 5 Buisness up front/Party in the back or Viva la Vida by Coldplay. Just because there both insanly good and the music on Viva la Vida is really amazing and instrumental and I cant get enough of it!

I love the soundtrack from Twilight. I felt cheesy when I bought it but I really really like it. It has some great groups that I didn't know before. Also I won a playlist for the book Prophecy of the Sisters and it reminds me a lot of the Twilight cd. Same type of groups.

Beyond that I'm a child of the 80's so I listen to a lot of mix cd's based on the mood. Some are more upbeat and others more for when I'm feeling mellow.
