Paula, I'm gonna steal that Kindle when you're not looking...

Cassidy, Sweet Caroline by Rachel Hauck? She's a great writer. : )

Allie, you and Daltrey are cooler than cool. What do you do on these days? You gotta let me know.

Bethany, great job on the classics. Have you been watching Emma on PBS?

I feel your pain about windows. I had an office that had no windows for about a year. Hated it :( It was hard.

I'm ALWAYS reading, of course. Haha. Lately: Jane Eyre *sigh* (lovely book); Listen, by Rene Gutteridge (very powerful book on gossip, etc. Finished it last night.); Northanger Abbey (I've been into classics lately); and for school: The Christian Counselor's Manual by Jay Adams. Lol. :)

I have always hated the month February. It's when I get a bad case of the "blahs" and start going to bed at 8:30, which is ridiculously strange since my normal bedtime is midnight. Anyway, Daltrey feels the same way, so this year we decided to make a calendar with something fun for every day. Yesterday was Yoga Day, and today was eat Nutella Day. Tomorrow is Listen to Frank Sinatra Day and Watch Anastasia Day. I recommend the strategy highly.

I'm currently rereading the Chronicles of Narnia series. It's great stuff. I'm also reading One Hundred Years of Solitude. I'm not too far into it, but I like it so far.

Here's to a better month!

Oh my gosh. You made my mom and I crack up about the whole "throwing kids up against the concrete wall" thing. That was so hilarious. LoL
Let's see.. I read a book called "Sweet Caroline".
It's really good. And funny. It's about a girl that's had like a troubled past and she's not real sure if God exists, but then life-changing things happen. And you're just gonna have to read it for yourself = )
Those books sound really interesting. I'm gonna have to look for them = )

I have 14 unread books on my Kindle :) Never Say Never and Talk of the Town are right there waiting for me...I just haven't started them. I also snagged 2 books by Julie Klassen, The Apothecary's Daughter and Lady of Milkwood Manor, and a book called Peculiar Treasures by Robin Jones Gunn along with a couple of Brandilyn Collin's books.

What I have read recently, and highly recommend, include Jason Elam's Monday Night Jihad, Someday by Karen Kingsbury (she is a super author) and Terri Blackstock's Cape Refuge series. I have also tapped back into some Grace Livingston Hill books. I used to read her YEARS ago! Anyway, recently I found The Girl from Montana and City of Fire. Superior books!

I now have 90 (yes, that is ninety! Yippee!!) new books in my classroom waiting to be read. I think I am so overwhelmed I don't know where to begin (kind of like cleaning the house). But I definitely don't lack for choices!!!
