You Bet Your Leg Warmers
Happy Wednesday. I’m a little bummed. We had a chance of getting some white stuff today, but now the front has changed (the front I’ve been watching for nearly 2 weeks. The front the Farmer’s Almanac said would come. And yea, thou didst come.). Anyway, it’s cold and nasty today, but no accumulating snow. And really that’s okay. I have mere weeks before Christmas break and to lose even a day would seriously screw us up. (But I do have backup plans, so on the other hand we would be fine. I always have Snow Plan Strategies.)
My friend Snow Loving Holly and I are orchestrating our 09-10 Snow Dances. Mine includes a homage to the late Michael Jackson and an interpretive number I like to call “Chris Brown Needs To Sleep in the Slammer.” I think they both will be really effective. Especially combined with Holly’s instrumental routine titled “Snowflakes Love Tambourines and Ukuleles.” Over the years many have asked if they could purchase tickets to our midnight celebrations to entice Old Man Winter, but I’m sorry. Our answer is still no. (Actually my answer is maybe. I could probably be enticed with ten bucks and a slushie.)
Not quite as good as snow, but cute pets are still nifty. This has exploded all over the Internet, so maybe you’ve seen this?
That’s the look Miller gets when he sees my bed head.
Okay, ignore the part before and after the spoof, but I thought this was kinda funny.
And that video led me to this one. (Warning: some words bleeped out)
It’s not so much that it’s funny. It’s just humorous because that guy sounds just like Cruise. (And anything with a few Top Gun references has to be awesome.)
So I stole this from a fellow Twitter friend and fellow blogger, but check out this old Nancy Drew book cover. How cool is that? Girls, don’t date a boy with fangs. Date a boy with leg warmers.
I read a great post on 10 mistakes folks make when blogging. I make at least 90 percent of them. One of them being writing posts that are too long. Those of you who blog, did you see yourself in any of those? So I guess I will cut it short today (or cut it just right) and say adios.
Have a fabulous week.
JEN
