In the ACFW class I taught on YA lit and Millennials, I started the class off with a quiz. Because I'm a teacher. It's all we know. (I tried to give one lady a detention slip, but she wasn't having anything to do with it.) I wanted the group to think about if they really knew their audience. I help judge the ACFW Genesis contest (which you totally need to enter if you're an aspiring writer. BEST money you'll spend. Cheapest feedback you'll ever get.) and one of the commonalities I see is writers who don't read YA or have a good grip on teens. So…I thought we'd see how YOU would do. Are you ready?
